Approach
What We Care About
We believe the design of the public realm — urban spaces, infrastructure, institutions, civic governance, and stewardship of natural resources — should seek to maximize shared benefit, distribute it equitably, and minimize environmental harm.
Society has the science, data, and ingenuity to do this. Experts can analyze complex systems and model future environmental, economic, and human scenarios.
Whether these solutions happen and endure depends on the quality of deliberation and the political leadership behind them.
